The Central Minnesota Woodworker's Association is a group of men and women from around the St. Cloud Minnesota area who share a common interest in the art and business of woodworking. February CMWA Meeting

Our February club meeting will focus on sharpening chisels and plan blades. Brad will demonstrate sharpening with the Tormek system and Denny will show how to use Japanese water stones. Don’t forget to bring items for Show and Tell.

Upcoming Art Crawl

Art Crawl St. Cloud was organized to build and promote a more lively and diverse community through the arts, promote local and regional artists, and support historic downtown as the heart and soul of the region. Art Crawl St. Cloud expands the arts by taking it to the streets and into the local shops to provide downtown visitors with an engaging artistic experience. Upcoming dates are March 15, 5 to 9 pm; June 14, 5 to 9 pm; August 23, all day and November 6, 5 to 9 pm. Learn more by visiting their website www.artcrawlstcloud.com.

December CMWA Meeting

The December 19th meeting is the CMWA Annual Potluck. The gathering will happen at 6pm, an hour earlier than our normal meetings, at the Paramount in St. Cloud. Members are encouraged to bring their significant other and a dish to share.

July CMWA Meeting

July’s CMWA Meeting will be a DVD by Christopher Schwarz on the right tool to use for each stage of woodworking, roughing, refining, and finishing. Join us Wednesday, July 18th at 7pm at the Paramount, St. Cloud.
