May 17 – Meeting

Our May meeting was a field trip to see a Wood Mizer sawmill in action at St John’s. Thanks to Michael Roske and Michael Ross for making this happen. The sawmill is owned and operated by Jeff Thompson .

Jeff Thompson is a semi-retired Certified Public Accountant who has found is true calling in life, as a woodworker! He is an accomplished husband, father, and home builder who has had time to create some wonderful pieces of unique woodworking one-of-a-kind projects. Among his many talents, he demonstrated his Wood Mizer sawmill for us.
